R. SCOTT SAVAGE

Of Counsel

Scott Savage graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 1978. He spent the next twenty-six years, twenty-two as a partner, with the Tulsa law firm of Moyers, Martin, Santee & Imel. During his years at the Moyers firm, trial work was the focus of his practice. His broad range litigation practice included the representation of businesses in contract, employment, environmental and oil and gas cases. He represented individuals in cases involving significant injury and economic loss. He tried jury cases in all federal courts and numerous state courts in Oklahoma. In addition, he has tried cases in both federal and state courts in Texas.

At the time Mr. Savage left the Moyers law firm, he had an active mediation and arbitration practice. He served as an arbitrator in commercial litigation and mediated contract, tort and employments cases. He is an Adjunct Settlement Judge for the United States District Court for the Northern District of Oklahoma.

In June of 2004, Mr. Savage became the General Counsel for eLynx Technologies, a Tulsa based company that provides web based monitoring and field automation services to the oil and gas industry. In his capacity as General Counsel, Mr. Savage provided legal advice on all matters ranging from licensing and other contracts, employment matters, loans, real estate and environmental. In June of 2009, Mr. Savage resigned as General Counsel in order to return to private practice.

Mr. Savage is a member of the Board of Directors for Oklahoma Attorneys Mutual Insurance Company. While in practice, he was an active member of the American Inns of Court. He is married and has one daughter.
