Amanda L. Stephens was born in Ponca City, Oklahoma. After graduating from Oklahoma State University with a BA in Political Science, she graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 2004. While attending law school, Ms. Stephens was the President of the Board of Advocates and served as a member of the American Indian Law Review. The summer after her first year of law school, Amanda studied law in Oxford, England in a study abroad program.
After law school, Ms. Stephens moved to Houston, Texas and focused her trial practice on defending professional liability claims, including legal and medical malpractice. Her client service also included representing legal and medical professionals in front of their respective licensing and disciplinary boards.
In November, 2009, Ms. Stephens moved back to Oklahoma and joined Richards & Connor. She currently focuses her practice in the areas of bad faith defense, insurance coverage litigation and general insurance defense litigation.
Ms. Stephens is admitted to practice law in Oklahoma, Texas and in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas. Amanda is married to Andrew Stephens and they have one son, Max.
